I just started my first day of work at the library yesterday. Finally they agreed to employ me unless my visa states otherwise. But man...that was tiring. Dah le puasa...and my 3-hr shift was in the evening. Meaning...I broke my fast while working. Ended up...just had a chocolate bar and a glass of plain water. The shift was supposed to start from 5.30 pm till 8.30 pm. But because I had to settle some salary form and etc with the supervisor, I started 1 hr early and was allowed to finish early. Kesian the kids, they were all asleep when I arrived and SIL said that amalin went "mmm...mommy's late tonight". Tetiba rasa sayu menusuk kalbu...as normally my hubby and I would get them washed and dressed for bed. They surely missed their mommy going...be careful with the water! or come here and get dressed first! or have you brushed your teeth? and so on. And tonight, I'll arrive even later than last night...probably after 9 pm. Though the job is considered easy I was so tired sbb kena berdiri and berjalan sambil mengambil all the books from the study area and shelve them properly for 3 hours straight. Mana tak penat...agaknye all the urat saraf semua terkejut and terkujat kot.Nway, I know I'll get used to this, sbb dah biasa doing odd jobs pun when I was in Iowa.Okay people...it's weekend again, so have a good one.
