Yes...raya is here again. How was it?err...a kelam kelibut one. Didn't expect that raya fell on saturday, really. Hence, planned to do all the preparation and the cooking on saturday plus last minute shopping for baju raya azri since dia alone je yg takde baju melayu. Went back from work at 9 pm friday night. SIL said that a few friends had been ringing us at home saying that raya would be on saturday. Shocked!Didn't expect it at all and found it from Regent Mosque that it was true. Maka, kelam kelibut la menggodek2 freezer...cari apa2 yg patut fro juadah raya. Bukan apa, it would be on weekend, ramailah would be able to attend. Camne2 pun takde barang2 to masak2, really hafta to come out with something for the juadah.Not really necessary, tapi tak sedap lah kalau org mai takdak apa nak jamu kan. So, Nasib baik still ada 3 chickens. The menu...roti jala and chicken curry *which turned out to be the favourite*, nasi himpit instant with kuah kacang and caramel puds and also some kuih raya made by SIL.Tidoq at 4 pm that night for mengemas2 and cooking session. At 7.30 am woke up...iron all the bajus, kids got ready and off to Kelab Melayu in Clapton. Beramai-ramaian di situ and start convoy from one hse to another. Sampai my hse's turn, it was at 3 pm and the last guest went back at 9.30 pm. Was mengantuk2 jugak by that time but had promised a friend *she insisted!* that we would be going to their hse. Pegi la jugak even it was late. So, makan2 n all sampai 12.30 am. Adooiiiii...raya ssakan sanagat sampai the 2nd raya!
