Got an sms from dilla last nite saying that she and co were all kecoh2 going back to Newcastle.Sian dilla...i know how tired it is travelling with kids around London. Even for us who stay here, sometimes when it comes to jalan2 pusing London, adoiii...sampai rumah je mesti flat. Biasalah...the most convenient way to go around London is by public transportation and always the cheapest lah. But, with toddlers, a pushchair is a must since they can rest their feet or take their nap whenever they feel like doing. Most paths here are all push chair friendly and it is easy. Unless the tube station doesn't have any escalator or elavator or even worse when those are not working, there'll be a problem to angkut mengangkut push chair through the stair case. Staircase yg pendek2 is still fine tapi kalau dah escalator rosak...semput la juga nak angkut pushchair with an 11 kg toddler! And if it happens regularly, bermaksud...takyah nak spend time in the gym to tone up the muscle and all...angkut2 semua tu pun dah cukup. And in my case, segala bekal2 mak nenek kena bawak like food, drinks, snacks, books, some small toys or even balls in case we lepak2 at the park. All those are to avoid any tantrums that might occur.Sounds tough, doesn't it?But, you'll actually get used to it...heh!Some people might say, oohh...she's a superwoman and they don't think they can manage it if it happened to them. I actually used to think the same, but once you are in the situation, you sort of adapt to it. It's not a matter of some women are superb and some are not. In my opinion, anybody can actually do it if they are in the situation.
On other note, I applied for a library shelver post at my uni and I did go for an interview last Tuesday. Hehe...kelakar jugak le bcoz we were not interviewed pun. All we had to do is arrange the books which the call numbers have been mixed. Then, we were given 15 minutes to arrange them in the right order which is considered more than enough time to finish the task.Yg i ni pi lah carik info on dewey decimal system, what it is, any more system besides DDC, etc. rerupanya arrange buku aje. But at least now ni i know a little bit about pakcik Dewey tu.
